Congratulations to Each One Tell One
Barracuda is pleased to congratulate Each One Tell One, a non-profit organization that raises awareness on dense breast tissue and early breast cancer detection. Each One Tell One has just been named PGA TOUR Charity of the Year and has been awarded a $30,000 grant from PGA TOUR.
Breast cancer is the #1 killer of women aged 35-64, and over 50,000 breast cancers are missed each year by screening mammography. The average five year survival rate of women diagnosed with a cancer smaller than 10mm is 98%, but in order to find these smaller cancers, women who have Dense Breast Tissue (DBT) need an ultrasound or an MRI in addition to the mammogram. Each One Tell One educates the public on breast imaging and the differences between fatty tissue and dense tissue.
Barracuda Networks became the title sponsor of the event in 2014. In 2015 we announced a competition for the Barracuda Bonus, which is a donation to the charity of the winner's choice. An additional charity bonus was added for any player who makes double-eagle 2 on the 18th hole. You can get more details on the beneficiary charities here. Barracuda is committed to giving back to our communities, through sports sponsorships, volunteer work, canned food drives and charitable giving, sponsored competitions (like this Innsbruck city run and this Christmas Coma event), and more. The charitable focus of PGA TOUR is one of the reasons we chose to get more involved with the organization and become the title sponsor of this event.
